Here at Conquest it’s important not to forget that we’re working tirelessly to provide players with other opportunities whether or not others are aware of the work or not. One shining example here is Tomas Kalinauskas who has today been called up for Lithuania’s U19s for their UEFA U19 EurosQualification Phases. Representing your country is the peak level of achievement in football and Tomas should be extremely proud of his relentless work rate that has got him to this stage. So much work goes on behind the scenes that isn’t seen or spoken about with a range of players that people have no idea we were even working with but moments like this really vindicate the hard work of the coaches and players involved.
Huge credit needs to go to a few parties here;
Firstly the player himself who is a model professional and part of a wider group of players at Conquest who demonstrate unquestionable work ethic and desire in their attempts to reach the goal of professional football. Calls like these are the first step in Tomas’ wider ambitions and we at Conquest are confident this will be the first of many international caps.
Secondly the coaching team but notably Conor Hayden, Harry Hayden and Abu Rayhan who give their time and effort to provide Tomas with the platform technically, physically and mentally to progress.
Finally his family who are supportive in his goals.
