Huge congratulations today goes out to former Conquest coach; Tom Whelan who has put pen to paper on a 1 year professional contract with Yeovil Town Football Club. Anyone who knows the management staff at Conquest will know that Tom is a very close friend of everyone at Conquest and we are absolutely delighted to be announcing this move today.
Tom’s journey to professional football has been extremely difficult and it is to his own credit that today he has signed a pro contract. His dedication to the sport and his extreme resilience in the face of adversity has seen him become an experienced and complete midfielder despite his tender age.
We are looking forward to watching Yeovil this season as Tom makes his mark in the game, we are confident that given the correct platform to succeed and demonstrate his obvious ability this will be the first of many upwards steps for him that will see him have a long and successful career in the game.
