Match Report: Cre8tive vs Conquest U16
Date: 04/05/2025
Full-Time Score: Cre8tive 0–0 Conquest
Result: Conquest won 5–4 on penalties
In a high-stakes and tightly contested clash, Conquest U16 emerged victorious in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regulation time against a spirited Cre8tive side.
Cre8tive started brightly, applying early pressure in the opening ten minutes, but Conquest quickly settled into their rhythm and took control of the game. At the heart of Conquest’s defensive solidity was Jack Mackin, whose commanding performance at centre-back ensured Cre8tive found no way through.
In midfield, Daniel Uzochukwu was immense—an uncompromising force who broke up play relentlessly and kept the engine room ticking. On the right-hand side, the pairing of Huxley Sanchez and Theo Astley Jackson caused havoc, consistently overloading the opposition flank. Huxley stood out particularly in the first half, combining aggression with creativity.
The second half saw Conquest step up another gear. For the first 30 minutes, they dominated proceedings with Raouf Fellah putting on a midfield masterclass. His ability to recover second balls and dictate the tempo made him untouchable during this spell.
The final quarter of an hour saw Cre8tive surge forward in search of a late winner. They were nearly rewarded, but Sandro Tsiklauri produced a superb save to keep the clean sheet intact and take the game to penalties.
In the shootout, Conquest kept their composure from the spot. Goals from George Crashaw, Chris Adebowale, Amine Ayad, Daniel Uzochukwu, and Edward McCaw sealed a 5–4 shootout win.
